Hi all!
I have sort of a backwards flock introduction and don't really know how to do it. I have four 3 month old chickens (3 hens and 1 roo who is getting a new home soon) in their coop I built them. I have a friend who is giving me two, 1 year old laying hens that I want to introduce to my 3 month olds. All the posts I've read, people introduce chicks to older ones in the older chicken's coop. Should I do it differently since the older chickens are going into the younger chicken coop? Any advice would be appreciated.
