"Grass all year".....I don't even remember what grass looks like. It's all under a couple feet of snow right now. I'll bet SDBirdlady's is too...She might be getting a storm today that we're suppose to get tomorrow. Then more cold...like -20*F. I wish spring would hurry up.

Actually, I wish we had snow. All the snow has been north and east of us. Its just frozen and gray :( The wind is horrible so we have big dust clouds that adds to the dreary look

Any backyard brahma breeders on here willing to help a newbie out? It is weird not having any chickens on my yard.

Where are you located? Have you tried posting in your state's forum and the buy, sell & trade pages ?

East TN and I have tried before and that never worked out. I am just trying to get an early start and hope someone will have chicks around February/March. I am just a brahma fan they have been one of my all time favorites. I have had some hatchery stock before and I know there are even better out there so I look forward to acquiring some hopefully in the near future. To be honest I would be happy with any color as long as it is a brahma.
