Backyard Brahmas!!

I think for some birds passing their laying prime and some possible roosters that sounds like the slightly low side of fair. I pay $3.50 for new chicks but our local decent breeder asks $7 to $15 for new pullets and $5 for straight run chicks. Now if they are show chickens that's different.

There are several brahma threads, so I wasn't sure which to post this question in. I think I just sold 6 chickens to a friend. She hasn't confirmed yet. I'm charging her 45$ for the adults and i threw in the chicks because I don't need them. Read below.
2 gold laced brahmas (hens) 1 silver laced brahma hen and 1 silver laced brahma rooster, and two mutt chicks.
All of them except the chicks turned 2 this past Easter. The chicks are 1 month old.
The adults are all from a local breeder, they were raised by me, together. And they're all very sweet
So my question is, is $45 too cheap or too expensive? I won't change the price on her, but I just want to know for the future.
Thanks!

Would depend totally on the quality of the birds, how close they are to proper Brahma type. Secondary would be cleanness of lacing and color.

I had one on my polish, no matter how tight i had it, he was still the same loudness, and I had to pick it up and put it back on him every couple of days. It eventually got lost in the mud after a rain, still hiding in there somewhere, it got buried. Was a waste of money for me.
Thanks for the response..still don't know if I want to go with those collars though....hhhmmmmmmm

I've never had hatchery laced brahmas, so I can't tell the difference.( I can't upload a photo because my wifi is HORRIBLE.) Their lacing looks good. They all have orange feet-- that's normal, right?--the silver laced had a couple roosters last year. They look just like the rooster I'm selling.
They are 2 but they're still laying really good.

$45 for all four of them. The chicks are mixed, so I just tossed them in the deal cause i don't need them.
It's just a lady who wants a little backyard flock for eggs. She isn't planning on showing them I don't think, but if she did I think they're pretty nice quality.

If someone could post a pic of a SQ and a non-SQ that would be great

the lady I got my brahmas from said the silver laced, gold laced, and buff laced brahmas were kind of rare. Is that true?
When I googled them I saw hardly any photos, and looking thru brahma threads I have seen hardly any photos of those colors
