Backyard Brahmas!!

I'm so sorry about your loss. I know you were so proud of those girls. We lost a cat to a coyote a couple weeks ago and the only thing that helped that first few days was to spend more time with the Pets that remained. I hope you can soon find a new friend for Kitty. Let us know how you're doing.

Georgie was a beautiful girl and was obviously very happy and well loved. I'm sure she is a queen in the great Brahmalot in the sky.

We got ours moved to the coop this weekend. I found someone interested in my suspected Roo from craigslist (I hesitate and told him I would like to wait until he matures more to be sure) Here are some pics from just now, anyone want to pay their 2 cents on the rest of the flock? I am praying the rest are hens... so in love with these ladies...

My guess is the darker one is a cock bird and the others pullets.
Please let us know when you know for sure.

Thank you all for your kind words. It is so nice to have people who understand what it's like! Kitty is doing better today, she is eating a little more. Yesterday I made her scrambled eggs, and she spent the night inside in the bathroom. She is sitting on my lap as I write this. Definitely not spoiled at all........

Hi Brahma Mamas and Papas when do Brahma cockerals make their COCK A DOODLE DOO? I Found someone who will take my suspected Roo but I want to make sure before we adopt him out. He (She) is sweet but all physical signs point to Roo, but I want to be 100% sure before I get rid of him... when should i Know?
