LOL! I know, that little guy kept inching closer & closer. I about fell over trying to keep from laughing while taking the pictures

Yes, I think the one on the frame is the girl.

They are pretty!

I can't wait to see how they look when they get bigger! Tomorrow night will be their first night in the pen since the weather is turning warmer.

Here are my backyard babies!!! My 8 month old buff Orpington went broody so I bought her some eggs. I kept six out of the eleven. I hope I chose well!! If anyone wants to weigh in with gender guesses please do! They are 3 weeks on Wednesday. The others I found homes for had no tails, no shoulder feathers and few wing feathers. They are two darks, two buffs and two lights The buffs are the sweetest

Lovely little things. Your two darks look very brown, almost look like partridge there. Maybe it´s the lighting. Lots of feathering, though, so hopefully you have chosen girls!

thank you livininbrazil! its not the lighting, they are quite dark. The pictures actually wash all of them out. Thank you for your kind and non judgemental comments! I will love them to matter what they turn out like! as long as they aren't roos lol

Just a few updated photos of my GL Brahmas! Lovely girls they are...and so different in personality from each other!

They still have some filling out to do for sure, but they are only 7 months old...Cinnamon (who we questioned the gender of) was the first to lay an egg!
