I'm no lawyer but I've always understood that what you did inside your house is completely up to you, even if you live in a restricted neighborhood with HOA and the like. I've lived in two homes that were in a HOA and I don't remember any regulations concerning what you did inside. The rules always fell under the Architectural Committee's jurisdiction and related to the outside appearance. Of course that would only be the case if you owned your house; renting would be a completely different story. Just curious but why in the world would you want to keep chickens inside your house full time? I can't imagine doing that.
