wow sir, alam nyo ba na nagbi-breed din ako ng mahuhusay na strains na dual purpose, base gene ko po ay yong hybrid na gawa ng Kabir sa Israel na i-co-cross sa Basilan males black and red, at modern natives....ang galing po kasi nakapagpainahin na po ako ng tatlo at isang tandang,
yong black basilan x kabir=black females, 1:1 ash and black males/mas maganda ang body build up for laying, umiitlog ng tan color
yong modern native x kabir=maganda ang body build up for laying
nong mainterbreed ko po ang cross na male sa pure kabir ay mas malaki ang variety, mas maganda, umiitlog ng tan color w purple speckles

thanks a lot webechickens. i've never been to your part of the US but i hope to one of these days as i try to discover what other american breeds i could use to cross with our endemic chicken breeds in the orient to improve our farmers' earnings from raising backyard chicken.

I have a range of kano breeds

Rhode Island Red
Barred Rock
Orpingtons

As well as "bisaya" as we call them in Negros

Some are producing, others I am trying to develop breeding stock

I have similar goals.

it depends on the breed

some of my 9 month old roos are 3.75kg Hens 3.1kg

I expect the roos to be over 4.5kg
