Backyard Chicken Newb in So Cal

Hey all!
I’m Sara and I’m new to this chicken raising thing. We (my husband and our grown kids)live in So Cal, up in the mtns with a small amount of property.
My husband just finished building a coop, and I found some pullets available so we’ll hopefully pick them up this week and get crackin’!
I have so many questions, but will start digging though the forums here for the answers.
