Backyard Chicken Newb in So Cal

I’m a fish out of water here, but am learning a lot already!:thumbsup
My husband and I purchased some organic feed yesterday, now we’re waiting for our local feed store to get a shipment of feeders in. So by end of this week we should be up and running.
To be honest I’m nervous about this endeavor, I don’t want to involuntarily kill any hens. Once we have the girls I’m sure I’ll be on here quite a bit for advice.
 
Ok, so we’ve finally filled our coop with some young hens! That was fun! So far all is going well, it’s been 48hrs and no issues yet! We really enjoy hanging out with these young ladies and getting to know their behaviors, they’re so funny sometimes!
