We wound up being an unofficial chicken rescue. Because we have land, people who tried raising chickens in their basement!!!! Or backyard brought their unwanted chickens to us. We have twenty now, all kinds, different ages and they all get along. It’s nice seeing the chickens who had lived in a little cafe or basement enjoying the fields. We call them our Engineers because they follow my husband wherever he’s working in the garden. Chickens are easy. It’s the ducks I can’t figure out
