Backyard Ducks

Hi, I'm new to the BackYard forum. I have two female ducks who are just over a year old. This is my first experience raising ducks, and it's been quite fun so far! I love watching them splash around in our kiddie pool and chase down grasshoppers in the yard. I live in Colorado with my family and a few other pets (dog, rabbit, parakeets).

Abriana, mine are Golden 300 Hybrids. They are specially bred to be good layers. We got them through Metzer Farms, and we've been really happy with all of their resources online. You could look them up; they have lots of info about different duck breeds.

Ducks always have the sweetest, innocent look about them. They are adorable.
