Lol, he's still a cutie pie... poopy breath and all!

Dogs find the grossest stuff so irresistible.

You take a couple of baker potatoes and heat em up hot in the microwave 8+ minutes. Stick the hot potatoe on the spur not all the way to the bone! Don't want to burn em! Wait a couple minutes. Remove the potatoes grab the spur and pull and twist it will pop off clean...
Thanks for the info. My 2 roos are just starting to get them. Now I know how to remove them when they fully form:celebrate

If the dog eats poop, can drop hot sauce on the chicken poop. Then they learn to avoid if it bothers the parent. They can make themselves sick eating.
Hot sauce is delicious, might as well pour on steak sauce! :drool
Dog saliva kills bacteria almost immediately and their digestive acid is exponentially stronger than a human's. Unless chickens are disease ridden, dogs'll be fine. :thumbsup

I do put a little apple cider vinegar in the flocks water, and the dogs, keeps em healthy, and keeps fleas, mites, parasites at bay.. I just worry peanut is going to pick up worms mostly.. Dogs can eat a rotten carcass off the roadside and still have clean mouths lol
