Backyard mix chicks

I just had 6 chicks hatch in the past 24 hours. These are my best guesses as to which are male and which are female. I'm kind of cheating because 4 of the 6 are black sexlink chicks (barred Rock mommas). The other 2 have either an Australorp or Jersey Giant momma. All chicks have the same Easter Egger father, and I'm pretty sure they all have pea combs.

Green chick. I'm pretty sure this is a black sexlink pullet.

Purple chick. I'm pretty sure it's another black sexlink pullet.

Yellow. Australorp or Giant mix. I'm pretty sure it's a boy. He already has three rows of 'peas' in his comb.

Blue. Australorp or Giant mix. I'm pretty sure this one is a pullet.

Black sexlink cockerel 1. He's got a white spot on the back of the head.

Black sexlink cockerel 2. He's got a very large white head spot.


I will update this thread in a few weeks to show you all how well I did with my guesses.

Four are sexlinks, so there wasn't really any guessing involved. And the one little Australorp mix has such a clear 'boy' pea comb already. This batch made it really easy. The girls are all really dainty looking. The boys are bigger already and they are only 3 days old.
