We built our place six years ago and have worked to expand our clearing on woody five acres for a sustainable lifestyle. We have a nice sized chicken yard amongst the trees with a small pond for when I have ducks. For clearing we temporarily housed a couple of goats and borrowed a DR brusher. Both worked fine! Going on five years of chickens with a few new additions this year. I would like to start hatching dual purpose/meat birds to process and put up. Plans on fencing an acre or two for future calf pasture. Oh the many plans we have!

chicken math took over and the addiction began!
