I would first like to say what a great first month I have had following BYC. Our journey with chickens at #hhhfarmNY began last September with two trips to Tractor Supply, 12 hens and two Roo’s the result. Even at 55, as a student of life, I have greatly enjoyed my experience with my girls, and boys, well mostly. I use every chance to have my hands on the birds and if you take time to look and listen while you are there, the smart money will tell your this is your communication. Yes it may seem silly but peeping and clucking with the kids from an early age will strengthen this. Easier than learning a Foreign language anyway. But I digress. There have been some ups and downs and most people will eventually learn. I hope they come here for help as I have heard and learned some pretty sage advice. Thanks for all the help along the way and I hope to be able to help in ways I’ve learned here myself.
Next piece of advice, start hatching. Fluffy butts around all the time is better than any paid therapy!
