Bad broody!!!!!

My broody Willow was doing great. She hatched and was caring for three chicks. I introduced 4 EE chicks she accepted them under wings for two days. No trouble . Today I went out and she had killed 3 of the EE's and was chasing one of her own and pecking at it. She had gone beserk. I removed all the chicks and have put them in a brooder. She is mad. Maybe I should say crazy. Did my introducing new chicks do it

or would she have done it anyway? She seemed to like the others when they were there the first days. I am stumped. I want to scream

I don't know what to tell you about your bad broody. I've never had one do that before. How awful.

It is some tipe canibalism.When they are broody they do not eat to much,they luse weight.On other side broodines make them more agressive.I have broody who 2 thimes starts feather picking and second time kiled one of her babies.I am not ltting her broody any more or if I do will be only to hatch.
