I've been working on my yard to turn a section into a garden. I've pulled up all the grass and made a nice mountain for the chicken for when they are old enough to be outside. The dirt has a lot of rocks so I've been going through section by section to get ride of the large and medium rocks I've been finding a lot of rusty nail and diff colored dirt, but I've never garden before so idk if this is normal. Should I be concerned, and not garden?

Sounds normal to me. We have terrible soil here too. Lots of clay, and buried garbage too. It's taken me years to augment my soil by adding amendments yearly like compost, aged manure, and organic matter. Gardening is more than growing vegetables. It's also tending the soil, and all the creatures that live in it, and help plants grow and thrive.

Thank you
