Bad duck eye

before I went on vacation my duck had a slightly bloody area around her eye like she got injured by one of the others 4 days later I come back (had friends watching them) and the eye it completely shut and crusted over . I immediately clean the pond and let her swim and she is now able to open it but it is still very swollen and clearly infected . I’m not sure how to treat it , I have vetericyn plus can I spray that on the eye? I’m not sure what to do please help!

The eye has gotten a lot better since yesterday I got some Vetericyn Plus Antimicrobial Pet Ophthalmic Gel and put some on after I rinsed it . Thank you all so much for the help I’ll keep you updated
