We let the ducks in the garden to clean up bugs and weeds......

This year was no exception.

However, this year I planted radishes. They were still several days from ready to pick.

When they come for you

Every radish was rooted up. EVERY radish. And every baby radish had a bite taken out. As if THIS one tasted like crap, so lets try THAT one. All down the row. And they were flung as if to get them away from their little taste buds fast as possible. Sigh.

Needless to say their garden time is going to be more closely supervised.

I don't know why you're whining. It's no ones fault but your own. When they start wearing colors and flashing signs, it's time for tough love. It's too late once they've already been jumped into the gang. That looks like an initiation rite to me. Next thing you know, they'll be getting those teardrop tattoos by their eyes.

Such a shame when good ducks go bad.

Now Now,, let's remember! There is no such thing as a bad duck, just a misunderstood, undersupervised duck! If you pen them up you'll take away their self-confidence and belief in themselves, and then they'll start robbing the neighbors, the local produce stand, and it will all be your fault!
