It looks almost hard boiled!

That is weird. No idea what could have caused it, but good instincts in that hen!

I have had several like this from my chickens. Was curious as to why they were not hatched or kept by hen and they looked like this and very similar in appearance. I have also had geese eggs look like this and both even be a bit green in looks. Would be interested in help into this mystery.

From 100 feet away-not bad. Looked like a scrambled egg shaped to the inside of the shell. Nasty stuff.

This one was two days shipping and 9 days under hen. Guessing 3 days of saving up. Maybe 14 days old. Again did not smell bad. Very light smell like puppy feet. Still sitting on the other eggs with her eyes on the prize. Six more days to go.
