bad flyers

I was wondering what ducks are not great flyers. and what hatchery has them.

Most of the domestic breeds are not great flyers. Muscovies will fly - as do mallards and the ornamental breeds.

Pekins, Welsh Harlequins, Khaki campbells, Runners, Appleyards, Swedes, magpies, anconas... etc Are less likely to get off the ground- but at times with a long enough run up may get a foot or so in height.

You will find that most waterfowl hatcheries will have an assortment of "less likely to fly" breeds available.
