I have a rooster who has a crooked center toe and until now has not had an issue but i went out to him last night and noticed he was limping and when at a standstill he holds that foot up. Any suggestions and keep in mind he is not friendly at all so not sure if we can get our hands on him easily to take a closer look or not. is this common with feet with crooked toes i dont want him to be in pain by any means. any input appreciated thanks

My rooster has that problem, there are two possibilitys I can think of:

1: Bumblefoot that makes him limp
2: His spurs are big so he has to walk crooked to avoid scratching his feet, and could have sprained his foot from this.

I wouldn't worry. I don't.

thanks i know its not his spurs they have not come in as of yet so its prob the other thing then
