Bad hydrometer?

I understand it's just for hatching...to me it still seems high so I was wondering if you have had successful hatches with it this high in the past or if you have had problems. I am just curious.
I've had it at this and had a better hatching this was than at the lower end. I would get a lot of babies stuck or not pip at all.

The not pipping comment makes me think they might be drowning in the egg once they make the internal pip.

The humidity level is much more important the first 18 day. Keep it lower ( 35-40) and constant for the entire time.

Once they are pipped yes it is good to keep humidity above 50 but it is my opinion that the last 3 days humidity is not going to make or break the hatch. The first 18 days will make or break it. (Autocorrect:barnie)

During the first 18 days yes they were in the other incubator at a lower humidity. They weren't even doing internal pip was my issue with quiet a few of them.

What has your humidity level at in that other bator?

I tested them yes, after doing that I started getting better hatch rates then I had been
Ok great.
I think I might worry a bit about humidity being too high.
I just wanted to let you know that I have hatched ducks, chickens and quail all with very low humidity and all with zero hatching problems.
I think too high humidity causes more problems, like drowned chicks.
