Bad leg

I posted about this chicken awhile back talked to the vet and didn’t really get any help so I thought I would try again. She gets around very good climbs up on things and runs around but if I can do anything to help her out please let me know.

I just posted on your earlier thread. This looks like varus deformity in her left leg, and there is no treatment. Can she get around well enough to eat and drink? Here is an article about the different leg bone deformities:

I'm dealing with this, too, in a new chick. It's hard to find info because most folks end up euthanizing chickens with this condition. I get why, but I want to give this one special care.

I'm taking her to a vet soon. I'll let you know what she says. I think I'm going to post and ask if anyone has a chicken who has learned to function with the deformity.
