No she did not quarantine him. I just know he caught it from her flock or from fighting another rooster.

I should have never rehomed him I guess. I thought I was doing him and my whole flock a favor. Wonder if he might get over the infection on his own? I couldn’t go over there and catch him if I wanted to.

Well sounds like this person is giving you the option. Either they going to cull it or let you have it back. Hopefully they're not just abandoning it. But if it caught it from her birds she's got more to worry about than just your rooster.

I offered to go to tractor supply and buy the $31 terramycin and bring it over to her. Honestly, he was a healthy bird before he went to her place. I gave him to her and I’ve never heard of someone wanting to return a rehomed rooster to a previous owner. Although it hurts my heart that he’s got an infected eye, I rehomed him for a reason.
And now that he’s free ranging over there, I doubt I could catch him.
