ok so i am almost certain my new babies are a khaki drake and a rouen hen. i also have a full grown khaki hen and pekin drake. does this seem like it would work out?

if not i am going to look into rehoming my khaki boy. i don’t really want too many ducks, so the best i would be able to do is like two more hens. which would mean two hens per drake. would that work?

but if i rehome my khaki boy, then i would be able to have 5 hens for my pekin drake?

and could a pekin boy kill a khaki or rouen girl?

is it likely to happen? would having just my pekin drake, khaki hen, and rouen hen, and then 2-3 more hens be better. or would it be better to keep both drakes, and give them each 2 hens (pekin would get bigger hens)

that’s what i want to do, we will have him (pekin drake) with a rouen girl and a khaki girl. next year, i want to get him a couple more girls. once i’m completely sure my other khaki is a boy (he’s one of the youngest, at 5 weeks) i will start looking for a new home for him

I just sold three drakes on craigslist today, the guy got them for his young daughters. He had a pond nice coop and everything. just ask to make sure they know how to take care of a duck before you sell him.

Yeah, I understand. you could also try facebook, there are different groups that you can join, for example; Oklahoma ducks, geese, and waterfowl.

yeah, i would put one drake in with the girls, but would a pekin drake be ok with a khaki girl?
