Hi all,

I’m a first-time keeper, long-time fan of chickens. I got a Rhode Island Red, Lavender Orpington, Plymouth Black Rock and Easter Egger three weeks ago, but am starting to suspect the Easter Egger is a roo. I’m an avid gardener and am working hard to regenerate the soil on my suburban property—I can’t wait to implement some chicken turd compost! I’ve been scouring the BYC site for months, trying to trouble shoot and plan ahead. Im finally joining in hopes of getting some feedback on whether this is a rooster hiding out amongst the hens!
