Bagpipes anyone?

Thats really nice! When I saw your post... I immediatly thought of this:

A local Scottish bagpipe group practices in our church social hall and as a thank you each year plays for a service at our church. It is an amazing sound that echos through the church. http://www.yorkkiltieband.org/index.html

Also a friend who is a retired police officer & a member of an Irish bagpipe group often plays at Police Officers funerals. Nothing else sends chills down your spine like hearing Amazing Grace played on the bagpipes drifting over an otherwise silent cemetery

I agree-that is the most beautiful and yet eerie sound I have ever heard. Have you heard "Il Divo's" version of Amazing Grace? SO beautiful!

That group is really great! I love bagpipes and always stop to listen whenever I hear them.

Thats one of my requirements for my funeral.. bag pipes! Such a soulful earie sound. I can see why they used to use them before going into battle to scare their enemies!

Unfortunately my hubby does not play bagpipes. He tried but did not have the dexetity to his fingers to play the chanter part.
