Yet more evidence that you should move to the South. All the restaurants offer baked or french fried sweet potatos on the menu.

Mmm, yes, I remember. One of the places Don took me to for lunch in CT had them as well.

Can I still be a southerner if I'm not trapped at home by 1/2 inch of snow?

wow........i am so jealous............ it was 85-90 degrees today and I got sunburned at the park.
it is impossible to get into the holiday spirit when you know it will be 80 degrees on christmas....................
we might take off to colorado or something, if we can find a reasonable flight......ha...ha

It was -12F this morning, and it's clear skies and sunshine which means it's going to be super cold tonight.

But my driveway is all plowed and the hot tub is working just fine

We had 5 inches on Halloween this year. I think the best part about Thanksgiving is the food, but we also turn the Christmas lights on that night. We spend the whole week before (Thanksgiving break for me and my brother) putting up decorations so that by the time it is December 1st, we can just enjoy the season.

I don't get to go to Taste of the Holidays now due to icy roads.

My whole year just got dumped on.

In memory of all the months I've been waiting for Taste, I've lazied out and ordered Domino's for tonight.
