Advice needed.
I have been reading about giving Baicalin and skull cap to chickens. I have 500 mg capsules that I can open . What would be the amount I can give to a silky hen? Also .. is baicalin different then skull cap ? I have a hen that has a bad leg…marek’s the vet said it wasn’t . I have been reading success stories about people treating sick birds with skull cap and also birds during a heavy molt with baicalin to promote feather growth.Would adding either of these be beneficial to the rest of the flock as well? Thank you !

This is what I currently have

The critical dose for Baicalin 85% (what you have) is 500mg per day. For that brand, that is 2 capsules. You can push the right down their throat. It has been clinically studied and is effective at stopping vital replication in Mareks, ALV, Newcastle, and Avian Influenza. Several large waterfowl sanctuaries are protecting their birds from AI with Baicalin, and even treating them successfully. The preventative dose (30mg/day) prevents viral infection by inhibiting viral replication. If a virus can't replicate, it cant infect a host. You can find more info on the treatment protocol here:
