Ours can reach the table and almost our kitchen counters. She hasnt tried to get anything off of them yet.
 
Hated the crazy stage mine is almost turning one in about a month a lost all hope but kept plugging away at training and some days its like they knew nothing but if you keep to it they will turn out amazing a bout 1 week ago my pup started listening to every command and is now the best dog. Once they get out of that stage or two there the best...key is confidence and steadiness

Ours will listen only for food.

She is very smart when she wants to be she know the trick when we say it. But she would rather have treays.
