Bakersfield, CA considers allowing chickens!

Hi everyone. I have always wanted backyard chickens, however, that is not possible here in the city of Bakersfield. This might change in light of recent laws passed in other major cities such as San Diego. I urge other locals to contact Sue Benham to voice their support (see linked article in the Bakersfield Californian)! The next meeting for this issue is October 22.
