i have 18 hens and 3 roosters , i have noticed that some of my hens are loosing their feathers on their backs , they are still laying regular and appeares to be in good health except for the feathers missing anyone has a idea what might me causing this

Some roosters have "favourite hens" with which they are overly amourous. They tread them more often which leads to the rubbing away of their saddle feathers. This is perfectly normal and when it comes to moult time these will grow back.
