I think that it would definitely take some time to get used to but creepy at first. I have no problem with bald necks and feathered heads as I'm used to that but bald head would be interesting. I think that it would take some time to get used to but would be creepy at first

Have the chicks always had bald heads, or did they start with down and then grow feathers and later become bald?

I hatched the chicks myself. I have the parents.
Yes, they started with down then grew feathers and now are losing them.

Seconding that. Are you located in the US? If so, it should be fairly easy to get some chick starter.
