bald hens

I have 8 Plymouth Rock hens and one roo. All of the hens are getting large bald areas on their backs just in front of their tails. Is this a disease, a parasite of an aggressive roo? How can I stop it short of Sunday dinner?:

Probably an aggressive roo. You can buy them chicken saddles or keep him seperated but a couple days a week.

Carri is right, you need to seperate him or get him more hens. LOL Feathers won't grow back till after the next molt. My roo has 14 hens and you still can notice feather loss.
