I'l like to know how many hens an lively rooster needs so that the loving is evened out.

i can't give you a number of hens, but its quite a few. i would guess 20 hens or more might barely keep him occupied.

Oh good, once these 10 babies mature (in 4 months!!) there will be enough to occupy him!

I have 13 laying hens, and he's hitting them pretty rough...but he's just matured, so things will hopefully slow down in a few months.
