What do you guys think might be going on with baby girls' head? She was like this when I brought her home. There were roosters where she was before. She's been here for a week and the rooster here doesn't seem interested in her. Wondering if it's a skin issue? Thanks!

Looks like feather loss due to mating.

Is she laying yet?

I don't know! She's the smallest out of the flock. I have only had them a week, so it's hard to say who is and isn't. I haven't caught her laying but she's been checking out the boxes.
