One of my girls has lost the feathers on her tummy and it is very red looking. We think she sleeps on the floor of the coop a lot. I don't really know why, we have 2 bars for them so there is plenty of room, but I have seen that not all of them sleep up there. We keep the coop very clean, but there is chicken poop on the floor. I am wondering if she is sleeping on the floor could she be getting burns from any poop she might be sleeping on? also she is one of my roosters favorate girls and gets on her a lot. I have not seen any signs of mites on any of the 7 chickens we have and she is the only one whos belly is doing this. She is not broody, and laying eggs every day. Not sure what to look for or what to do if anything ...any advice?
