Bald spot and gash on my hen.

On my hens back at the very back of where her bottom flight feathers rest on her back there is a bald spot and what appears to be some sort of gash/cut. Its not fresh and seems to have scabbed but still looks recent. Any ideas of what this could be whether she somehow cut herself on something or if its pests and she plucked her own feathers?

Sounds like rooster damage. Had a Orpington pullet like that recently.
