Bald Spot Please help!!!

I noticed on my turkey there is like a bald spot. Its about the size of a plum. I looked closer and near the bottom i noticed a small dried blotch of orange stuff like the color of chedder cheese about the size of an eraser on a pencil. I got kinda nervous and am posting this because im not sure what it is. Its probably nothing but im just double checking. He hasnt been acting weird at all, he has been eating and drinking regularly. Thank you!

Sorry, I know nothing about turkeys. Have you tried posting this in the turkey section? Maybe someone in there can help.

thanks for the bump. i recently checked it out and i think he is just molting because i see new feathers growing in. however some parts there arent even little feathers poking out

Phew! I'm glad to here it sounds like he's just molting - hopefully the spot still bare will get some feathers shortly as well!
