Bald spots

I also mentioned this chick on another thread...but thought I'd make him/her its own post, with pictures from delivery date from hatchery until a few days ago. The breed of the chicken is unknown. I saw the bald spots and took the chick away from the others immediately, put it in our quarantine tank for a few days and ended up bringing it home. Any idea on what's going on with it?

Looks like one of the many baby molts chicks go through as they grow. It's basically outgrowing it's current feathers and growing in new ones.

This little one had bald spots when received from hatchery. They are normally 1-2 days old when we get them in.

What are you feeding it? It could need more protein to grow it's feathers. I like to add a daily treat of scrambled eggs to make sure they get some good nutrients too.

They are getting dumor 24% starter, Also poultry cell for this one(I work at TSC)
