Hi guys! I just went out to check on my flock, and my Mottled Cochin Hen, Rosie, who I'm planning on showing in our county fair is loosing her feathers on her belly. It's not red, but if you look up close you can see little green spots on her. Recently (within the past week) I had to take some of my chickens into the vet for wheezing and an abscess on one's eye. I don't remember what disease he said they had, only that it was some kind of disease attacking the upper respiratory system that could spread. He gave me pills to empty out and put in their water. They've been on them since thursday (6 days ago) and all seem to be doing well.
Rosie had 4 chicks in February and in June one of my other hens hatched chicks and Rosie was helping her take care of them once they hatched, but she hasn't been remotely broody since. Other than her belly she is looking and acting completely normal.
Thanks so much!

Any Advice would be a BIG help to us. I have no clue...

Thanks!

My first thought was going to be broody, because broodies do pluck their feathers out in that spot to keep eggs and chicks warm. If she's been broody before and you know she's not now, then I have no idea what it could be. Sorry
