balding heads on 3 hens and age?

I have a white rock hen that went bald, just like you describe. ??? no roo, no parasites.

She just started growing her feathers back in on her head after nearly a year. (looks like she's got plugs right now) And she's not molting. I'm clueless, but she never acted sick or anything.
