Banana peels

Ive heard chickens love bananas and thier peels. My 3 sex links have yet to Try them. Are the peels safe for them?

My chickens like bananas but ignore the peels. Probably too bitter.

Your chickens are smart. there is more poison sprayed on a banana peel than any other fruit.

I've visited banana plantations in Costa Rica and Jamaica. The runoff poisons the rivers and streams.

We only buy organic bananas and our chickens eat the peel! Is there any other reason besides the spraying why I shouldn't give them the peel?
