Is there a way to band an adult pigeon (homer)?

Not officially. Bands are made to go on 7-10 day old pigeons that way you cant take a 2 year old pigeon and say it is younger. However there are ways to band for ID purposes only. There are several types of pair bands that clip on.

I will look for the clip on ones... I only want them banding so I can tell them apart at a quick glance. I am not racing them anyway. Thanks.
