Banding Chickens

I have a flock of 30 . They break down into 4 different age catagories. We want to band them so we can identify the age group. Can anyone fill me in on how to band? Also do have to order bands on line, or are they carried at a feed store.

You could get a bunch of colored spiral leg bands, they come in a bunch of colors, and you could just use a different color for each age group.
