Banny Rooster pale comb/waddle help

I have a Banny Rooster (Ricky) who has a pale comb/waddle and is afraid of things (including me) around him. First he started to stay off by himself away from Lucy..his dream girl...whom by the way has three new rooster/chicks this spring... I need some advice..never had chickens before and I love them so....
He looks great (except his comb) eyes bright and feathers nice...no weight loss he is eating and can see where the food is.
He seems afraid of me and puffs up when I get too close and we were best buds! When I offer him a meal worm he overshoots and gets my fingers....no worm. Also, about a week ago, he came up missing...he never went back into the coop in the evening. I thought for sure he was a goner...so today...I find him in the front yard. I took him to the coop and fed him some vitamin foods and water...I am not sure what is going on. Help is needed for Ricky...

If he's been gone for a week, maybe he's been through some stressful events and needs a little time to calm down....maybe he's "forgotten" you guys were buds, like when you remove a dominant hen for a few days and reintroduce her, the others "forgot" who she was before...

I'm not too sure what else? Give him a little time. Oh, his comb may be pale due to lack of food or water, the stress of being away from his place.....

Thank you for your help...He was acting that way before he came up missing...now he is sleeping in the coop. Gave him some vitamins in his water and food. He ate really well. Now, he is snoozing. I appreciate the help.

How old is he? Maybe puberty is causing some of the changes in personality.... One of my roos, at 10 months, decided to try and flog me - he's tried several times now. I'm trying to give him the benefit of doubt, due to hormones, but I can't trust him anymore

- totally not saying your roo is going this direction, he may just be "growing up" a little!

He is over two years old now. ;-) He was better this morning when I went in to the coop to check on him. He did not puff up at me, etc. He is eating his food and drinking. You had a good point though about the hormones.. I think he is too old for that now.. I appreciate your help.

I just wormed all of mine last week, they loved it

. This week we're dusting everybody for lice/mites, they really do enjoy that

If you don't mind me asking...what do you use to worm with and dust with?

I use (permethrin) poultry and garden dust, or 7 dust - same thing, different strength is all....

For worming, I will do 2 things, first wazine, "pig swig" in the water for a couple days and then the following week give them an oral dose of Valbazen. It takes care of different types of worms....For an alternative, so the worms don't become immune, I'll switch to Ivermectin. A dab on a piece of bread or something like that. I ordered Valbazen online, just Google. I have the dosage recommendations at home, I can post it later if you would like to have it available.

A week after I brought my first group home, one of the boys pooped a pile of worms

It was disgusting, but I'm glad I saw it....after I de-wormed, they gained and grew incredibly! I do it 2x a year, in mid - late spring and in the fall....

I haven't seen any worms but I am thinking I need to be safe so I am going to de worm and de-mite. I thank you so much for your help!!!!! So, off to the tractor supply store and then off to the Chicken Coop Lounge to treat my chickens!

I forgot to ask you the dosages.... I was wondering if you wouldn't mind letting me have them...I want to try the ivermectin later and would like to know how much on the bread.
