For the Wazine, it's 1oz. per 1 gallon of water. The Valbazen is 1/4cc. for small/bantys and 1/2cc. for larger chickens. The Ivermectin you can give a pea size on a piece of bread for each chicken.

The Valbazen I have, I ordered online from First State Vet Supply and it has the dosage for chickens on the side. It says to mix 8cc of water with 2 cc of Valbazen, shake it up and give each chicken 2 cc of solution, can be repeated in 10 days.

Ivermectin pour on for cattle dosage is 1/4 cc per bird. The box says to give 1ml (same as cc) per 22lbs of body weight, so if you divide that in quarters, it's equal to about a 4lb bird... I like it because I don't have to make them eat anything or shove a syringe down their beak, just grab one and put a small drop at the base of the neck - and it controls lice/mites too....

I've never actually used the Ivermectin paste, except on horses. I just can't imagine a chicken willingly eating that stuff, the horses always seemed to dislike it so much!

No one else but us chickens here...lol The closest is about 6 miles away...I was wondering since he was not feeling well, and he had been gone and came back, if the others had not given him a rough way to go and he left??? Not sure what to think but we keep looking for him. He is so handsome. I can't believe how attached I get. ;-)

I understand the attachment. I'm not sure what it says about me as a person!? - Maybe I need more of a social life?

I don't know of too many animals that leave a free meal and a safe community for nothing??? Strange....
