Bantam Assortment

Beccazon, our TSCs have had quite a variety this year! They changed hatcheries and I believe that may be why. They had pekins, rouens, and khakis for ducklings. Last year just pekin. They got in both white and bronze BB turkeys. And a HUGE variety of chicks. All types of sex links (black, different reds, and amber), shipments of just silkies, the bantam mix, barred rocks, jersey giants, RIR, Speckled Sussex, Delaware, Australorps, white leghorns, brown leghorns, and so many more! Of course they had the Cornish x as well. The only thing is this year we're having issues with the Cornish x we got from them. Last year we didn't lose a single one due to health issues out of 50. This year I picked up 15 and lost 6 to unknown causes (all have been weird with the legs) and they're being raised the same way. Last year we actually kept 20 of our Cornish x for MUCH longer than we should have, but they free ranged for most of their food so it wasn't a big deal. Some were actually laying. And still didn't lose any to health problems. They were as heavy as turkeys come butchering time lol
