I went to tractor supply today to pick up nail clippers for the dog. I knew it was chicken swap day so I purposely didn't take any cash.
Smart, but not smart enough.
I took the kids so they could look at all the animals (not just chickens, but other fowl, plus rabbits, goats, pigs) and THEY took cash, the little stinkers.

So you know what happened next...
Yeah, we brought home 12 new peeps.

Two are supposed to be Welsummers, two are varieties of Cochin, and the other 8 are some kind of mix. The man was selling them for $1 per peep because they were mistakes, he doesn't usually mix breeds. He said they were mixed Americauna and ..... I forgot what he said. I know he said it was a bantam breed and I think it was about 3 sylables and had the sound either "hal" or "wal" in the name?

I don't really need to know, I am just curious and can't think at all of the name he said.

plan and simple since they are mixed with americauna they are ee's lol...you could try and look at the breeds tab and see if any of those pop out
